Fusion Body Art face painting products are non - toxic and are compliant with EU and US cosmetic regulations. The US FDA recommends not to use Pink Sorbet, Magic Magenta, Royal Purple & Fresh Lilac around the eye area.

Yes, all of Fusion Body Art face paints are Vegan Friendly, meaning that they do not contain any ingredients directly or indirectly sourced from animals, and they are never tested on animals. We love animals as much as you do and we want people to feel happy when using our products!

No, Fusion Body Art face paint do not contain lanolin. We want our products to be free of any animal sourced ingredient.

Q. WHAT DOES FX MEAN?
FX is short for special fx , ie special fx product. This means the product is designed to create a special effect, like for example, glow under a black light. Some products are designated this way based on international cosmetic regulations.
Q. WHY DOES SOME OF FUSION BODY ART PRODUCTS SAY FX IN FRONT OR AFTER THE NAME?
Though widely used around the world by face painters & special FX artists, as of yet, the US FDA and EU Commission have not tested neon pigments to be used in cosmetics, therefore they have not been approved by the FDA or EU to be labelled as a cosmetic in the US & EU. Following FDA guidelines, the labels of all UV colours, as well as any split cake, Rainbow cake or palette containing any UV colour are as follows: Special FX Product - Prosthetic Paint (for professional use only) - Not a cosmetic Product. Keep in mind that the fact that the FDA has not yet tested these pigments for cosmetic safety does not indicate that they are unsafe. Usually, FDA focuses their testing on pigments that they know can cause or are causing issues right now. These pigments have been around for at least 20 years and the FDA still has not decided to test them (and they are very aware of their use in our industry). Other products like Henna, which is widely used on the skin by henna artists fall on the same category, as the FDA has not tested it yet for cosmetic application.
Q. IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO FACE PAINT?
All cosmetics can, on rare occasions, cause allergic reactions. Fusion Body Art face and body paints are hypoallergenic, meaning that they are designed to be free of as many known allergens as possible. We still recommend that you do not apply our products to sensitive or broken skin. If you are in doubt, it is always best to test our face paints by placing a small amount on the wrist, if a reaction occurs within 30 minutes discontinue use. Each individual is different to the next, so it and it is up to the individual to assess their own situation at their own risk
Q. WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF FUSIONB BODY ART FACE PAINTS?
We recommend using Fusion Body Art face paints within 12 months from opening to ensure freshness and the best possible performance.
Q. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO STORE MY FACE PAINTS WHEN NOT IN USE?
We recommend storing your face paints with the lid on in a cool and dry location away from direct sunlight. Make sure to allow your face paints to be fully dried before putting the lids on and keep them in a safe environment while they are drying out. Never put your face paints inside a refrigerator or microwave or leave them inside your car’s trunk. It is best to keep face paints away from direct heat sources like a window or a heater and avoid storing them in the basement unless it is a dry and finished basement.
Q. HOW DO I REMOVE FUSION BODY ART FACE PAINTS?
We recommend using soap and water to remove Fusion Body Art Face Paints. Using a sponge or a soft cloth, add a bit of liquid soap and gently rub the painted area until all of the pigment has been loosened. Then proceed to rinse with warm water. Repeat if necessary. Avoid using water before applying the soap, since that can cause the pigments to settle inside your pores and make them harder to remove. If any traces of colour still remain after a second wash, apply some face lotion or baby oil, let it set on your skin for a few minutes and then remove. There is a small chance that some small trace of colour may remain for a day or two, this will usually go away with regular sweating and shedding.
Q. CAN I MIX MY FUSION BODY ART FACE PAINTS TOGTHER WITH OTHER BRANDS OF FACE PAINT?
Fusion Body Art does not recommend mixing our face paint with other brands to prevent unknown and unexpected reactions between the ingredient sin our face paints and the ingredients in other brands. We also do not recommend applying our face paints over regular makeup or products like lotion, sunblock, bug spray, etc.
Q. CAN I SLEEP WITH MY FACE PAINT ON ALL NIGHT?
We do not recommend sleeping with face paint left on, please remove all face paint before sleeping. This will help reduce the chances of stinging and of getting an allergic reaction. Also, face paint can stain your clothes and sheets, so it is best to remove it before going to bed.
