Loading a sponge with a split cake
Dampen the sponge lightly — damp, not wet — and press the face against a paper towel first to remove any excess moisture. Sweep the sponge across all the colour bands in one smooth motion so every colour transfers evenly, then stamp firmly onto the skin and lift cleanly rather than dragging or rocking, which collapses the colour separation.
Washing & reusing
These sponges are washable — soak in Brush Soap by Jest Paint before washing to fully lift dried paint out of the pores. Let the sponge dry completely before storing, ideally in a mesh sponge bag to keep it aired out between events.
