About the designer

Marcela Bustamante has been a professional face painter for 10 years, featured in Pintamos, Face and Body Art, Illusions, and SkinMarkz magazines. She has taught workshops and appeared at conventions in Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina, the Netherlands, London, and Australia, and became a FABAIC instructor in 2017.

Cleaning & sanitizing between clients

Wipe between faces
For a quick colour change or client change mid-event, wipe bristles on a clean cloth or baby wipe, then swirl in clean water.

Wash at the end of each booking
Swirl bristles in warm water with a dedicated brush soap, working from ferrule to tip, then rinse until the water runs clear.

Reshape and dry flat
Squeeze out excess water, reshape the tip to a point by hand, and lay flat to dry — never store bristle-up in a jar while wet.
