Getting clean, consistent lines

Load the tip only, not the full bristle length, and keep consistent, light pressure throughout the stroke — pressing harder mid-line is what causes a liner stroke to widen unevenly. Move at a steady speed rather than stopping and starting, since hesitating mid-stroke tends to pool paint at that point.

Caring for your brushes

Rinse brushes in clean water immediately after use and reshape the tip to a fine point before it dries — a liner that dries splayed won't hold a fine line next time. Store brushes flat or bristle-up between events.
