This unique colour is fabulous for unicorn face paint, fairy face paint, butterfly face paint, and princess face paint designs. Deep Magenta looks gorgeous blended into blues, pinks and white, is a very pretty colour for lips, and makes a great line work colour in lieu of black.

What is it used for?
Deep Magenta is fabulous for unicorn, fairy, butterfly and princess designs, a pretty colour for lips, and a great line work colour in lieu of black.
Can I use this instead of black for outlining?
Yes — Deep Magenta's dark, bold look makes it a great alternative to black for line work, outlining, or shading, especially on pink-based designs. It's particularly effective for outlining butterflies.
What's the "double dip" technique with this colour?
Load your brush with both Deep Magenta and white at once for a two-tone "double dip" effect — perfect for one-stroke style flowers and petals.
How many applications does one jar give?
50–200 applications, depending on how much of the design uses Deep Magenta and how heavily it's applied.
Is it safe for kids?

How to apply & remove

Apply
Fast and easy to apply with a wet paint brush or sponge. Dampen your brush or sponge and swirl on the paint surface until you reach a creamy consistency.

Outline or shade
Use a fine brush loaded with Deep Magenta to outline butterflies or shade pink-based designs — a softer alternative to black.

Double dip for flowers
Load your brush with both Deep Magenta and white at once for a two-tone effect, ideal for one-stroke style flowers and petals.

Layer or blend
Layer colours on top of each other once the base colour is dry, or blend Deep Magenta into blues, pinks and white while still wet to make endless beautiful shades.

Let dry
Dries quickly, and once dry has a smudge-resistant finish.

Remove
Easily removed with soap and water on a soft cloth or sponge. For the gentlest removal, we recommend Brush & Body Wash by Jest Paint ↗ — a natural, plant-based soap safe for skin and brushes.

PRODUCT LABEL & INFORMATION

Add water to your brush before you apply it to the skin. Wash with soap and water, some colours may stain skin temporarily. Keep lids closed when not in use. All cosmetics can, on rare occasions cause allergic reactions. Do not apply to sensitive or broken skin. Test by placing a small amount to the wrist, if reaction occurs within 30 minutes discontinue use. FDA recommends not to use Pink Sorbet, Magic Magenta, Royal Purple and Fresh Lilac around the eye area. Use within 12 months of opening.
