Prime Strong Black flows off the brush the moment it's loaded with a little water — rich, opaque, and built for line work, stenciling, and shading, but just as capable sponged on as a full base colour. It doesn't need much water, so start light and build up as needed. This 100g size is Fusion's largest Strong Black option, built for artists who go through black quickly or run high-volume events.

What is it used for?
Strong Black is perfect for line work, stenciling, and detailing, as well as for painting over large areas — great for witches, pandas, zebras, and more.
Why choose the 100g size over 32g or 50g?
Black is one of the most-used colours in any face painting kit. The 100g size gives the most applications per jar of the three sizes, making it a practical choice for artists painting many faces per event or stocking a full-time kit.
How much water do I need?
Strong Black doesn't need much water to flow off the brush — start with less and add as needed.
Is this easy to remove compared to other blacks?
Yes — Strong Black washes off more easily than many other black face paints, which also makes it a good option for covering large areas.
How many applications does one jar give?

How to apply & remove

Add water to your brush or sponge, then load the paint onto your tool. Strong Black doesn't need much water to flow — start with less and add as needed.

Activate one area at a time
With larger cakes like this one, use as little water as possible and activate one area at a time rather than wetting the whole surface.

Line work & stenciling
Use a fine brush for crisp, thin, graceful line work, outlining, and stencil detailing.

Sponge on for base coverage
Use a sponge to lay down solid black as a base colour or over large areas.

Let dry
Dries quickly, and once dry has a smudge-resistant finish.

Clean your brushes & store

Awesome coverage DEEPEST of all blacks

We have tried a multitude of black facepaints for neck blackouts on our Goth Gaming YouTube channel, and am so happy we found this Prime Strong Black from FUSION. The quality, coverage, depth and lack of streaks surpasses all others. This FUSION black outperforms the Snazaroo black we were previously using , and we will not be going back! PRODUCT LABEL & INFORMATION

Add water to your brush before you apply it to the skin. Wash with soap and water, some colours may stain skin temporarily. Keep lids closed when not in use. All cosmetics can, on rare occasions cause allergic reactions. Do not apply to sensitive or broken skin. Test by placing a small amount to the wrist, if reaction occurs within 30 minutes discontinue use. FDA recommends not to use Pink Sorbet, Magic Magenta, Royal Purple and Fresh Lilac around the eye area. Use within 12 months of opening.
Not tested on Animals. Vegan Friendly. Glutten Free. Perfume Free. Paraben Free. Because this product can stain other surfaces, please avoid contact with carpets, fabrics and upholstery.
