FAQs
What is it?
A 6-split-cake Halloween face paint palette designed by Anna & Santi at Jest Paint, with cakes named Witch Stockings, Mummy, Purple Gothic, Pumpkin Pie, Gorey and Swamp Monster.
Who is it for?
Beginners and professional face painters wanting a ready-made colour range for Halloween designs such as mummies, witches, monsters, pumpkins and gothic looks.
Is it suitable for kids?
Yes, for ages 3 and up. As with any cosmetic, we recommend a patch test on the wrist before full application.
How is it removed?
Apply liquid soap first, work into the paint, then rinse with warm water. No special remover needed.
How do I use the mini split cakes?
Glide a damp flat brush across a split cake in a single stroke to pick up all the blended colours at once — ideal for fast one-stroke Halloween designs.
Can I use it outside Halloween?
Yes. The colours suit any spooky, horror or gothic-themed event through the year, as well as cosplay.
Can colours be mixed?
Yes. Blend Fusion colours together while wet to create custom shades, or layer colours once the base layer is dry.
How many faces per palette?
Approximately 50–100 designs depending on coverage and complexity. Full-face designs will yield fewer.
Beginner or pro?
Works for both. The pre-designed colour combos make striking Halloween designs achievable for all skill levels.

How to use
1
Load your brush
Start with a slightly damp flat brush. Use a wider brush to load all of the colours in a split cake at once, or a smaller brush to just pick up a few for fine detail.
2
Build your base
Sponge or brush on your base first — a full face for a monster or mummy, or a cheek or eye area for smaller designs — then build up colour once the base is dry.
3
Add detail work
Use a fine round brush loaded from the split cakes to add bandage lines, stripes, cobwebs and creature details over the base.
4
Let dry
Fusion face paint dries quickly to a smudge-resistant finish. Colours can be layered once the base is dry, or blended together while still wet for custom shades.
5
Remove from skin
Apply liquid soap first, work into the paint, then rinse with warm water. For the gentlest removal, we recommend Brush & Body Wash by Jest Paint ↗ — a natural, plant-based soap safe for skin and brushes.
6
Clean your brush & store
Clean brushes after each use with Brush & Body Wash by Jest Paint ↗. Store the palette dry with the case closed, away from direct sunlight. Never leave in a hot car.
Ingredients
Comparison
vs oil-based paints
Acacia Senegal Gum base is lighter than oil-based formulas — no greasy feel, and removes with soap and water instead of oil cleansers.
vs mixing your own colour combos
These split cakes are pre-designed by Anna & Santi at Jest Paint specifically for Halloween looks — no guesswork blending individual colours to get the right effect.
vs alcohol-activated
No setting spray needed. A gentler choice for children and sensitive skin. Not suitable for full waterproofing requirements.
Best for
Halloween face painting, spooky and gothic designs, and anyone needing easy soap-and-water removal at the end of the day.
Not suitable for: full waterproofing requirements. If you need waterproof paint, consider an alcohol-activated formula instead.
Safety & storage
Patch test
Test on the wrist 30 minutes before full application. Discontinue use if any reaction occurs.
Do not
Do not sleep with paint on skin. Do not use on broken or irritated skin.
Storage
Store dry with the case closed in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Never leave in a hot car. Use within 12 months of opening.
Brushes
Clean after every use with Brush & Body Wash by Jest Paint to extend brush life and prevent cross-contamination.
