How to use

1
Load your brush
Start with a slightly damp flat brush. Use a wider brush to load the full colour combination of a split cake at once, or a smaller brush to pick up just a few tones.
2
Apply in one stroke
Sweep the loaded brush across the skin in a single stroke to create butterfly wings, flower petals, or fairy wing details with minimal blending needed.
3
Combine or use alone
Use one split cake on its own for a quick design, or combine multiple cakes together since they're all designed to work seamlessly in the same look.
4
Let dry
Fusion face paint dries quickly to a smudge-resistant finish. Colours can be layered once the base is dry, or blended together while still wet for custom shades.
5
Remove from skin
Apply liquid soap first, work into the paint, then rinse with warm water. For the gentlest removal, we recommend Brush & Body Wash by Jest Paint ↗ — a natural, plant-based soap safe for skin and brushes.
6
Clean your brush & store
Clean brushes after each use with Brush & Body Wash by Jest Paint ↗. Store the palette dry with the case closed, away from direct sunlight. Never leave in a hot car.

Comparison

vs oil-based paints
Acacia Senegal Gum base is lighter and more breathable than oil-based formulas — no greasy feel, no pore-clogging, and removes with soap and water instead of oil cleansers.
vs mixing your own colour combos
These split cakes are pre-designed by Leanne Courtney to work alone or together — no guesswork blending individual colours to get her signature butterfly and floral look.
vs alcohol-activated
No setting spray needed. Better for sensitive skin and children. Not suitable for full waterproofing requirements.
Best for
Butterfly, floral, and fairy-inspired designs, and anyone needing easy soap-and-water removal at the end of the day.
Not suitable for: full waterproofing requirements. If you need waterproof paint, consider an alcohol-activated formula instead.
