Designed by makeup artist Leanne Courtney, Tiger Lilly blends deep magenta, pink sorbet, white, bright yellow, and orange zest into a bold tropical gradient built for one-stroke tiger face paint stripes and flower face paint petals. Half the cake works beautifully alone for smaller one-stroke purple or orange flowers. This 30g cake gives 75–150 applications (varies by design), with an easy wash-off formula.

FAQs
What is it?
A bold tropical gradient face paint split cake designed by Leanne Courtney — 30g, giving 75–150 applications depending on design.
What is it used for?
Tiger Lilly is a strong pick for tiger face paint stripes and flower face paint petals. Load half the cake at a time for smaller one-stroke purple or orange flowers.
What's the difference between a split cake and a rainbow cake?
Split cakes are 30g with narrow colour bands designed for one-stroke gradient blending. Rainbow cakes are 50g with full-sized colour segments built for full multi-colour sponge coverage as well as one-stroke work.
Can I use a sponge instead of a brush?
Yes — dab the colours onto the skin with a small sponge or round dauber, patting back and forth until the colours are even. A flat brush is better suited to one-stroke work like petals and stripes.
How many applications does one cake give?
75–150 applications, depending on how much of the design uses the cake and how heavily it's applied.
Is it suitable for kids?
Yes, for ages 3 and up. As with any cosmetic, we recommend a patch test on the wrist before full application.
Best for
Tiger face paint
Flower face paint
Tropical summer looks
Flames & cheek art
Cosplay & carnival looks
How to apply & remove
1
Load your brush
Dampen a flat brush slightly, then sweep it across the colour bands to load a smooth gradient. Add water a little at a time by dipping just one corner of the brush — too much water at once will muddy the colours.
2
One-stroke work
With the brush fully loaded across the gradient, paint stripes, petals, or flames in a single confident stroke. For smaller flowers, load from just one half of the cake — purple side or orange side — for a two-tone bloom.
3
Sponge application
For broader coverage, load a small sponge or round dauber and dab the colours onto the skin, patting gently until the colours sit evenly.
4
Let dry
Dries quickly, and once dry has a smudge-resistant finish.
5
Remove
Easily removed with soap and water on a soft cloth or sponge. For the gentlest removal, we recommend Brush & Body Wash by Jest Paint ↗ — a natural, plant-based soap safe for skin and brushes.
6
Clean your brushes & store
Clean brushes and sponges after each use with Brush & Body Wash by Jest Paint ↗ so colours don't carry over between uses. Store the cake dry with the lid on in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Never leave in a hot car.
Ingredients
Contains — base formula+
Calcium Carbonate
Natural mineral. Gives the paint its smooth texture and opacity.
Acacia Senegal Gum
Natural plant-based gum. Binds the formula and helps it adhere to skin.
Glycerin
Plant-derived humectant. Keeps skin comfortable and the paint workable.
Polyvinylpyrrolidone
Film-forming agent. Helps paint apply smoothly and dry to a smudge-resistant finish.
PEG-32
Gentle conditioning agent. Improves texture and helps the formula blend evenly.
One split cake replaces five individual jars for bold tropical designs — every shade sits ready for a single confident brush stroke.
vs rainbow cakes
This split cake is 30g with narrow colour bands built for one-stroke gradient blending. Rainbow cakes are 50g with full-sized colour segments for full multi-colour sponge coverage.
vs oil-based paints
Acacia Senegal Gum base is lighter than oil-based formulas — no greasy feel, and removes with soap and water instead of oil cleansers.
Best for
Tigers, flowers, tropical looks, and anyone needing easy soap-and-water removal at the end of the day.
Not suitable for: full waterproofing requirements. If you need waterproof paint, consider an alcohol-activated formula instead.
